ADOPTION OF PROPOSED BYLAWS

The proposed bylaws change, which would add the PLA Councilor to the PLA Executive Committee, passed.

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

The PLA Board of Directors has approved the following change to the PLA Bylaws. Division members are asked to approve the change at this time. Replacement text to be approved is boldfaced.

Article IV, OFFICERS AND DUTIES, Section 3, The Executive Committee. 01 The Executive Committee will consist of the president, vice-president, immediate past-president, the chairs of the clusters, and the ALA division councilor of PLA. The Executive Director will serve as a non-voting member of the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee will have the authority to act for the Board of Directors between Board meetings.
