It is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation's libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support. National Library Week 2009 will be celebrated with the theme, "Worlds connect @ your library."

Free tools to help libraries promote National Library Week 2009 will be available on this page in October 2008. Posters and bookmarks will also be available through the ALA Store in the fall.
