About the Teens' Top Ten
Teens' Top Ten is a "teen choice" list, where teens nominate and choose their favorite books of the previous year! Nominators are members of teen book groups in fifteen school and public libraries around the country. Nominations are posted in April during National Library Week, and teens across the country vote on their favorite titles each year during Teen Read Week. Readers aged twelve to eighteen can vote right here, online, anytime that week.
Want to get teens at your library to vote? Download the button below, put it on your web page and link back to www.ala.org/teenstopten.

Pass out handouts of the nominations (PDF) to your teens (use this version to add your own logo and info at the end [PDF]) or create Teens' Top Ten 2008 bookmarks (PDF)!
Read as many titles as you can so you can make informed decisions about your favorite books when you vote. Encourage your friends to join you in TTT reading and voting—tell your book group, youth organization and any other groups you belong to to come to www.ala.org/teenstopten between October 12-18 and vote! The more teens who participate, the more accurately the winning list will reflect the reading tastes of teens all over the country!
