Friends of AASL
What are the Friends of AASL?
The Friends of AASL program was created to ensure excellence in service to the profession and to support growth and viability in the future. The purpose of the funds is to provide additional financial support for AASL programs and initiatives that enhance the association's mission and goals. This additional funding is designed to apply to initiatives that go above and beyond traditional membership services and support the new strategic plan. Friends of AASL can be individuals or institutions whose interests include supporting the school library media profession and advocating for its place in education.
Why become a Friend of AASL?

Friends of AASL help fund professional development programs that supply valuable learning experiences and expand the knowledge base; or contribute to advocacy initiatives that provide tools for school library media specialists in speaking out for their profession; or help fund programs that stenghten the AASL community and make it more visible in the larger education community.
