Recruitment Assembly Fosters coordination and cooperation of recruitment efforts among ALA units and other library related organizations.
IF Groups and Committees The Office for Intellectual Freedom has official relations with the American Library Association Intellectual Freedom Committee, the ALA Committee on Professional Ethics, the ALA Intellectual Freedom Round Table, the Freedom to Read Foundation, Leroy C. Merritt Humanitarian Fund, State Intellectual Freedom Committee Chairs, Intellectual Freedom Action Network, and other First Amendment advocates.
Library Education Assembly Provides within ALA an opportunity for broad representation of the membership and affiliated groups to exchange information, share ideas, and express concerns pertaining to education for library service.
Research & Statistics Assembly A forum for the exchange of information about library research and statistical activites throughout the associtiona and witrh other library groups sharing an interest in such topics.
