This Institute provides information, resources, and strategies that will help define advocacy and facilitate the development of long-term advocacy action plans for school library media programs. This Institute incorporates various tools available to school librarians, including the AASL Advocacy toolkit of online resources, the marketing resources developed through the ALA @ your library campaign, and the resources that will assist school librarians in developing a multiple year advocacy action plan that goes beyond PR and marketing.
